Volunteering in an association
The association's volunteers are what enable the association to advance its goals.

Assistance in providing telephone support at the EMDA Association's information and counseling center:
The association operates the Dementia Information and Counseling Center, 8889*, which is staffed by volunteers led by the Information Center Director. The Information Center allows family members of patients to call and receive support and initial information on a variety of topics. The Information Center volunteers will undergo professional training.
Activating people with Alzheimer's and dementia using EMDA Association kits:
Volunteers visit the family home and encourage the patient to take action using the EMDA Association's activity kits, while at the same time instructing the family member on how to act when they are separated from the patient. Volunteers undergo special professional training and receive professional guidance and support throughout the activity.
Listening Ear - Telephone support for families of people with Alzheimer's and dementia:
The EMDA Association has volunteers who provide telephone support and counseling for family members of people with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Linguistic editing for the EMDA Association's annual newsletter
The newsletter contains articles and reports, reports and responses from professionals and family members, in Israel and abroad. The newspaper is published once a year in advance of the annual conference, and is distributed among members of the association and therapeutic and social entities associated with it.
