The number of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia is increasing year by year in Israel, currently standing at approximately 150,000 people, and is expected to exceed 200,000 people in the next five years. Family caregivers, spouses, descendants, and other relatives, currently number approximately 300,000 people, and are expected to exceed half a million people in the coming years.
Amda provides practical guidance and emotional support to patients and caregivers, with the help of support groups across the country, a national support line, information on the website and social networks, activation kits, family support, and additional services. In order to expand the support and the various services that EMDA provides, we also need to significantly expand our circle of volunteers. Join us!
