Emda Association is looking for a national volunteer manager – Job 502
(Voluntary, part-time or more)

This is a significant leadership role that will increase the practical guidance and emotional support that Emda provides to approximately 150,000 families dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's throughout Israel.

What do you do in the role? 💙

• Defining and building volunteer types according to field needs
• (Family support, training, logistics, digital, languages, and more)
• High-quality and focused volunteer recruitment (communities, networks, academia, sectors)
• Writing and implementing *role descriptions and induction, training and retention processes
• Ongoing management: scheduling, coordination, measurement and evaluation, volunteer culture and motivation
• Leading a growth strategy and increasing impact and benefit to the public in Israel

Experience and skills required 💛

• 5+ years of management experience in leading teams/initiatives
• Previous experience in recruiting and managing volunteers is preferred.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience working with the Arab sector and Haredi society – an advantage
• Commitment to social impact, high organizational skills and excellent interpersonal communication
• Background/affinity with lungs and/or dementia – an advantage
