The EMDA website provides a rich and updated content database for families with dementia. If you have relatives or friends who need help, refer them to our website, and specifically to the content below.
New content on the EMDA website
- Who can help? – A new information page, which lists sources to which you can turn for help on a wide variety of issues, from memory clinics and exercising rights, to day centers, assisted living, and medical equipment.
- Amda's new blog – With a variety of sections for families with dementia: scientific articles, guidance and tips, solutions in the field, news and events, exercising rights and an inspiration corner.
- The new articles area on the EMDA website – With a variety of articles that we published in the local press and in the conference book, alongside exclusive articles on the site. Dozens of articles have already been uploaded to the site and are available to the public.
- Medical treatments – A new information page covering a wide range of treatments: prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, nutritional supplements, vitamins and minerals, and behavioral and physical therapies.
- Amada Conferences and Events – An information page that summarizes all the events expected in the coming months, and is updated regularly. Many events are open to the general public, and families with dementia are invited.
- EMDA's solution portfolio – Information about the ways in which families with dementia and Alzheimer's can help us, including support groups, activation kits, home and Zoom counseling, memory workshops, and more.
We continue to upload new content to the website and update existing content, with the aim of providing practical guidance for families with dementia.
In the meantime, you are invited to spread the word, and of course also refer families with dementia to the EMDA Association's free telephone counseling and support center at *8889. Thank you!
