Trust me, beloved children.

My beloved children, thank you for taking care of me and Dad. I know that everything you say comes from love and a desire to help, and I really appreciate it.

Right now I still feel like I want to and can take care of my father myself. My difficulty is mainly mental, and less physical, so it's important to me to maintain the house and our routine without bringing in a permanent worker at the moment.

I do make it easier for myself and use whatever help I can — I have a nanny a few times a week, I have help from my family, I buy prepared food, I have a cleaner, and I have someone who looks after my father when I go to the gym. All of this allows me to continue to be available to him and also take care of myself a little.

I ask that you trust me, and if there comes a point where I feel I can no longer continue like this, I will tell you and we will think together about what is right to do. In the meantime, the most important thing to me is that you feel that I hear you, appreciate you, and love you very much.
